Getting Started with Rohan
I presume that you already know the menus and controls. Here are some information in case you skipped on the tedious tutorials.

NPC - You talk to NPC by right clicking on it and not by left clicking as opposed to other MMORPG.

Bindstone (Spawn Area)

The bindstone is the structure where you spawn. You can set your default spawn area when you die or use teleport stone by talking to the NPC Gatekeeper. It’s hard to miss the bindstones since they’re very much visible on the map.

Persona Switch

For Dhan and Dekans, they have the options to switch from Assasinate mode to Peace mode. Being in Assasinate mode has it’s perks and rewards. While in Assasinate mode, their names won’t show up in hit list or revenge list. In fact their names will show up as generic class. By killing other players they gain 3 times the experience. As a trade off for that benefit, you won’t be able to do quest and join parties.

From level 1-30, it’s free to switch persona mode, for level 31-50 it’s 300,000 crones. Finally for high level players from 51 to 100 will have to pay 500,000 crones.

Quest Indicator

In Rohan, the quest indicator is the yellow “Q” icon on top of the NPC. If you’re grinding in areas that’s far from NPC, you can check the map if there’s quest available or you might have missed. There’s a green spot on the map area that indicates quest from the NPC.

Chest/Box

From time to time you might encounter one of these boxes or chests. Unfortunately, you need to have keys for that. Keys are dropped randomly by monsters. The chest or the box randomly shows up in unexpected places. Just imagine how frustrating it is not to having the keys when the box shows up in front of you.

Level Refiner

If you have an item you can’t wear due to level requirements, just head to the nearest Level Refiner NPC. With a certain fee, you can make the item level down to your desired level. There’s always a probability of success and failure. Failed refining can make your item level requirement go higher.

Forge Armor and Weapon

To enhance your weapons and armor, you can go to NPC Weaponsmith and NPC Armorsmith. To forge certain items, you need to complete the ingredients. There’s also chances of success and failure in forging items.

Fishing

The Fishing game in Rohan is a fun mini side activity to take a break from grinding. You need to purchase a fishing rod first, if you have some crones to spare you can buy a high end fishing rod to increase your chances of catching good fish. For the bait, you can use any items, weapons, armors, potions and etc. Using high level items will also increase your chances of getting a good fish.

PK System

In Rohan players can start PK as soon as they reach level 30. If you have killed 10 players your name will turn red and everyone is free to kill you without penalty and even the patrol NPC. Getting killed increases the chance of dropping your valuable items. It will take 10 hours for your name to get cleared.

Only Dhans and Dekans can switch to assasinate mode which automaticaly conceals their identity with generic red text class name. While they are free to PK and get rewarded, peace mode players are free to kill them without penalty and will also get reward.

When your PK attempt fails, your name will turn pink which means anyone can kill you without penalty. Town guards will let you squeak by if you have only killed one player but they will attack those who attempts PK within the area.

Pets

Pets in Rohan acts as assistant to the player by providing additional abilities. Pets needs to be fed in order for them to level up. Neglected pets that dies needs to be revived with Item from item mall. There are two type of pets, the in-game ones and the cash shop pets.

Ingame pets – The Honey Bear gives HP boost, Kahto increase mobility and the rabbit enables the player to teleport.

Item Mall/Cash shop pets – Hawk increases attack speed, Dragon provides additional attack, Monkey has looting ability, Jaguar increase critical percentage and the Duck enables teleportation with the use of Mock Duck portal scroll.

Mounts

Players can use animal mounts when they reach level 30. The mounts give extra speed boost when traveling. In game animal mounts are available to specific class. The mobility speed increases when leveling. The mounts purchased at cash shops gives 100% mobility boost.

Consignment Shop (Auction House)

One of the convenient feature of the game is the consignment shop. There’s no need to go on vending mode. You can have your item registered and stored in consignment shop for 24 hours. Everyone can check out the item for sale. You can register up to 30 items for sale. Make sure you get your items before 1 week has passed or it will be deleted.

Township Battle

Guilds can register for the Township battle in a bid to take control of the town economy. The reward for the winning guild is full control of the taxes of the town for a week. They will also receive reward money, mounts, town NPC will have the name of the guild and badges.
