Beardwar’s Grand Chase Jin Multiple Grab Techniques
Before i start this, if you need to be show any of these, feel free to add me ingame, (IGN:beardwar)
Also, Most of these grab techniques can be used by any character, jin is just an example.
Seeing as Jins second job is coming out, i have decided to bump this, hope noone disagrees it’s needed.
Note: This guide was created by beardwars of ntreev forums.
Start
Grab: dash into the opponent and attack.
Airgrab: jump into the air or drop down, dash and grab.
Dashdown grab: dash, during the dash, press down, and grab when necessary.
Catch grab: grab them on the floor as they fall from the air, must be done with good timing.
The double grab
This is a simple technique you will have probably seen ingame quite a few times, as most people who can do it, do use it.
Double grab type one: Grab the opponent quite near a ledge, and as they ‘stumble’ off the edge, dash straight forwards and grab them again.
Double grab type two: Grab the opponent quite near a ledge, and once they have “stumbled” off the edge, dash down and grab them.
Double grab type three: Grab the opponent quite near a ledge, then, once they have “stumbled” off it, drop down, perform an airdash and grab either midair OR perform a catchgrab.
The triple grab
Triple grab type one: Perform a double grab type one, and as they fall, drop down, dash and airgrab the opponent OR, perform a dashdown grab on them.
Triple grab type two: Perform a double grab type two, OR type three and finally perform a catch grab on the floor.
The quadruple grab:
Perform triple grab type one and finally perform a catchgrab on the floor.
The slope grab:
This is my favourite, and i have been called a hacker many a time having mastered it.
Assume we are in elven forest, and are on the slope on the right.
if you grab them with either jin, elesis or lires’ nova form, you shall see they get thrown FORWARDS and in the air, and then fall downwards back to the floor, instead of the norm, which all other characters do, which is throw them along the floor.
Now, if you do this grab, and perform a catch grab before they hit the floor, you can grab them a second time on the slope, ^^ cool eh?
well, if you then perform ANOTHER catch grab before they hit the floor, guess what? you just triple grabbed an alternative way.
The highest possible chain you can do with this is 5 grabs, and by then you are on the level part of the floor.
Skill grabs:
Jins firstbar skill can be combined with a catchgrab as they fall.
Jins secondbar skill can be combined with an airgrab, and then a catchgrab is they are on a slightly lower part of the platform than you (etc. on many places in forgotten city) otherwise, just an airgrab.
Jins thirdbar skill can be combined with an airgrab and a catchgrab as above.
Jins firstbar skill flaming can be combined with a catchgrab as it may be without flaming.
Jins secondbar skill flaming skill may be combined with an airgrab OR a catchgrab (not both, the opponent doesn’t fly high enough.) against the side of the stage.
Jins Thirdbar skill flaming can be combined with an airgrab OR a catchgrab against the side of the stage.
Thank you for reading my thread ^^
As i said, add me ingame if you need this explaining.

(p.s. i’m looking for a guild ^^ any guild leaders wish to recruit me?)
(p.p.s. if anyone wishes to challenge me to a beard duel, i’d be happy to oblige, but i warn thee, i’m the World Beard-Dueling Associations’ beard dueler of the year, 6 years running ^^.)
(p.p.p.s. a beard duel is a fight usuing just headgear and helmets.)
Happy Living ^^
Any comments are extremely welcome.
Please comment *begs*
Also, any good grabbing tricks are welcome, i shall deem whether they are unknown enough to go on the guide.
EDIT: I just remembered an awesome trick i found out a while ago, The mages infinite grab.
By mages, i mean Armes’ first form, although it also works with Warlocks. There are two places i have currently found you can do this, Gorge of oath and Forgotten city.
The places to perform this grab are:
Gorge of Oath: the standalone pillar between the middle platform and the very left platform with the portal.
Forgotten city: EITHER the highest platform on the level OR the platform just below, and slightly to the right of the highest one.
To perform this grab, simply grab the opponenty while they are EXACTLY on the edge of the platform, (or “stumbling” off it) and proceed to grab as they stumble the opposite side, continue for as long as required.
NOTE. this is quite hard to explain in words, please add me ingame if you need help with it, i should be back online in a few days.
Alchemists’ airgrab
I assume everyone knows how to bomb jump right?
I also assume a lot of people know if you dash over a bomb as it explodes, youm go a hell of a long distance, an a bit up.
well, if you knock the enemy up, perform this “dash over bomb” into them, and attack, you get an airgrab ^^
ABSOLUTELY useless in games, but funny if you get lucky and do it ^^
