Sword Mercenary

The sword mercenaries are melee type characters. They specialize in face to face combat. Most often used as the frontliner because of their high HP and defense. Their disadvantage is that they can only hit one target at a time.

A character who uses a sword will cause more damage to melee type mercenaries (Sword/Spear/Axe/Power Saw) and less damage to ranged mercenaries (Bow/Gun/Cannon/Instrument) in a PvP battle.

Sailor

Skills:

1. Toxic Sword - gives the user a chance to poison enemies with their basic attack.
2. Blood Vengeance - causes severe damage with one of your mercenaries’ sacrifice. When this magic is used, it will cast a magic attack against the enemy.

The pirate can equip swords in both hands and has high [Action Power]. It has a comparably low health for a melee type mercenary but has high evasion rate.

[Toxic Sword] magic applies poison to her blade and attacks the enemies. It will lower their action power and cause continous damage.

In order to recruit a pirate, you need a Shiny Soul Stone, a rare item that an independent mercenary sends you, Tome Pirate Flag and Davy Jone’s Heart. You can start the pirate recruiting quest from Mary Read near the Ghost Ship of the Caribbean area.

Swordsman

Skills:

1. Flame Sword – Damage an enemy with a sword of flame.
2. Break Down - Damage all enemies by shaking the ground.
3. Guard Dispel - Remove Holy Guard from the enemies’ front row.
4. Dark Seed - Continuously damages an enemy with dark power.
5. Chaos Edge - Damage an enemy with a blade of darkness.

The Swordsman can equip a shield and is the only mercenary specialized in defense and vitality. It can act as defensive shield for your other mercenaries. However, they can only attack one enemy at a time. They can use the [Flame Sword] magic skill to cause high damage to an enemy.

Exorcist

Skills:

1. Mana Seal - Stops enemies from using magic.
2. Speed Cast - Increase the action power of your magic mercenaries.
3. Mana Burn - Decrease enemy’s magic power and cause the same amount damage to the enemy.
4. Seal Staff - Reduces enemies who use staffs’ attack power.

Exorcist have high defense and health. They use [Mana Seal] magic spell to stop enemies from using spells. [Seal Staff] is used to lower the attack power of staff-using enemies and [Mana Burn] to use an enemy’s MP to damage them. They are strong mercenaries who use [Accelerate] magic to increase the Action Power of allied magic users.

You can start the Exorcist Recruitment Quest through Iris, inside the Devil’s Forest.

Lady Knight

Skills:

1. Light Slash - Slash an enemy with a sword of light.

Lady Knight is a strong mercenary specialized in defense and health. They can only attack one enemy with their basic attack, but can attack 2 enemies in a line with their [Light Slash] magic. They can fataly wound enemies with the [Divine Slash] spell. a combination of Light Slash and the Oracle’s Vortex magic.

You can acquire Lady Knight recruiting quest from Janet in northern Ostersund.
