The world of Atlantica is complex and a bit overwhelming when I first played as a newbie. After few gameplay I warmed up a bit although I made some goofs like getting wrong stats and etc. I stumbled upon quick and straightforward tips in Atlantica forums. Be sure to check out the forums for more infos.

1. Don’t craft unless you’re sure it won’t drain your money.
2. Arena is easy as long as you pay attention to what other people bet.
3. Don’t worry about money. You earn a lot more as you level up.
4. Don’t bother with +ed equips unless the price for them is cheaper than getting 2 +0s and enchanting them.
5. Brutal will and Noble Sacrifice are useless for Staff mains.
6. Melee mains should only level Breakdown when they are under level 100.
7. Easy way to make some quick chump change: craft spirit equips, dismantle them, sell the shards.
8. Commodity box [low] only gives skill books for skills your merc can learn. The only books that will be given are for skills under level 20. Growth vials are given at random, but will come out at a 100% rate if you have used up all skill points but still have growth points left.
9. Learn how to use stuns to control the game.
10. Monk is almost always needed.
11. Exorcist mercenary is best in PVP.
12. Oracle is better than a Shaman in every way, except when against an AOE team.
13. Always Awaken the Monk when he is at combo 1.
14. Listen to your guild and nation leaders.
15. Get a good mentor to help you out.
16. In this game, sharing has many benefits.
17. FL (Free League) gives stamina.
18. Learn to move mercs around in battle to maximize heals.
19. Don’t use enchant stone int (31+ on destroyer, walachia and anu warrior, its cheaper to sell them and buy the gear yourself from market.
20. Enhancing is generally better than enchanting for low worth gear (Dark knight weapons, walachia armour)
21. In battle, use arrow keys to control the camera.
22. When buying mana stones or books, don’t forget to check prices of the higher level items — Adv items often cost less than their Int or even Beg counterparts.
23. You can use int/adv books/stuff even when you are at level 1 (skill/spell) (it helps cos sometimes the (beg) cost more…)
24. If you are staff main, try to get a mana shield lvl 1 as early as possible like lvl 2 for extra xp everytime you got hit….(later you can remove it by skill decrease book if you want)
25. Do guild quests for easy enchant boxes…
26. Your mercs are squishy especially the new ones, did you use growth vials?
27. There are boxes that give weapon equips that can be chosen and is better the random boxes at the same equip level.. eg. arusas, dark knight, osiris…
28. It’s also often cheaper to make weapons (or shields) at level 50 and 70. 70, anyway. You can buy osiris boxes which let you pick what you want. Generally these are a lot cheaper than just buying a +0 weapon off the market.
