Gymnast Alison Carrol as the latest Lara Croft human counterpart

Eidos announced their latest model for Lara Croft. Meet Alison Carrol, she’s a 23 year old British gymnast residing in London. She quit her day job as a receptionist, to be Lara Croft. Her expertise in gymnastics is a big plus in fleshing out her newfound role. It’s too bad that her role doesn’t include starring in a Tomb Raider movie. She wil,l however trot around the world as Lara Croft for the promotion of Tomb Raider: Underworld.

Before her, there’s Rhona Mitra who first bagged the first human counterpart of Lara Croft. Movie actress Angelina Jolie became the Lara Croft on-screen. Let’s not forget the controversial Nell McAndrew who posed for Playboy which got her fired from her role as Lara Croft.
