Cabal Online unleashes it’s latest Lord of War patch. Finally Cabal gameplay gets even more convenient and exciting. I’m looking forward to the Cabal Online Philippines Lord of War patch. The main problem usually in Nation and Mission war is that anyone can shout out the commands, it gets confusing when the command is overlooked when bunch of idiots shouts out profane and rubbish comments. Eventually bickering between players result to losing battle. Eventually, I had to keep away from mission war channel since I keep losing Alz due to losing battles.
This entry is a quick overview of the patch.
I. Lord of War Features:
Top players every week gets a title of Guardian or Bringer according to their scores and number of kills. Along with the Title, there’s also additional stats benefits.
Guardian - HP Up 500, Resist stun, knock back, down, unmovable =60%
Bringer - HP Up 500, Resist Crit rate, crit damage= 60%, Sword amp 10%, Magic Amp 10%, Critical Rate 10%
Character effects:
While the Storm and Luminosity bringers looks pimpin with their special aura, unfortunately both their Names and Guild are visible to the enemies. Damn! where are the privacy?
Luminosity Bringer Capella and Stormbringer Procyon

Broadcasting:
The Guardians and the Bringers can broadcast the commands which shows in the middle of the screen. No need to read the rubbish shout outs at the chat window. They can also entrust the broadcast command to their trusted ally.
Cabal Online celebrates Christmas with their Festival of Coins event and Santa epaulets. What’s really cool about the Festival of Coins event is you get a chance to get RW3 Bike key, Astral Boards, Blessing beads, Rare santa epaulets and also mundane regular stuff like Map part, Potions, Return stones and etc.
Holiday specials on Cabal Item where items are available for a limited time only. It would be nice to spend some dough on Santa Sleigh but I find it way too expensive for my budget, maybe next year.
Holiday Events:
Festival of Coins: Collect 50 silver coins and 100 gold coins and have it exchanged with Henkoff NPC in Bloody Ice. Like Chaos lamp, you get random items such as RW3 bike, Santa epaulets and other junk if you get unlucky. Too bad this event is already over.

Hunt for Bad Santa:
This Santa’s been very naughty that you have to kill him to get cool in-game items. I haven’t had the chance to kill him though since I spend most of my time either vending or punching the training dummy.

Christmas Socks collection:
Collect 5 normal socks and have it crafted to either Shiny Blue socks and Santa’s Red socks. The Special socks contains cool items such as Bike, Board, slot extender, epaulets and more.

Posted in Cabal Online | 2 Comments »Here’s the much awaited preview of the E-games cosplay 2009 calendar. Featured are the well known faces of Philippine Cosplay scene dressed up as girls of Cabal and Ran Online.
Alodia Gosiengfiao as the Cabal Online Archer in Osmium Battlesuit.
January - Cherry dressed up in Warrior Training armor also
February - Anneliese as a Shaman in Ran Online.
March - Wella dressed up as a Brawler in Ran Online.
April - Jamilla of Pinoy Big Brother Teen edition and FHM model dressed up as Wizard in Mystic Martial suit. I think that her skirt area needs more width though.
May - Evgenia as Wizard in Osmium Martialsuit. At first glance I thought it was Rosanna “Osang” Roces.
June - Princess Tinkerbell as Swordsman dressed in Sophomore School uniform in Ran Online. The checkered skirt looks a bit “off,” they should have made it plain navy blue instead.
July - Joan Muller as Brawler in yellow mid riff tank and micro mini skirt.
August - Cesca as Blader in Mythril Martialsuit.
September - Pathra dressed up as brunnette version Cabal NPC Arionell.
October - Nadine as Pink haired Shaman in white midriff top and red micro mini skirt. She totally rocked the shaman outfit!
November - Tisha Silang as the skimpy clad Archer.
December - Alodia as swordsman in junior school girl uniform.
Now, where can I get my own copy of the calendar. The e-games website doesn’t seem to have the homepage of the calendar up and running.
Posted in Cabal Online | No Comments »For a while, Cabal Online Pets have no abilities or skills. That leaves a lot of players wondering what the skills of the pets would be like. At first I find my pet rather useless, it just follows me around like a shadow. But then at the Cabal online forums, the GM announced the pet training system on the next update. That’s great news. However, there’s no looting skill yet for the pet. I mean that’s the very reason why I bought the pet, so that I won’t have to worry about picking up my loots.

The pets are more like extension of the character. They have the skills to enhance the character’s attributes or abilities.
Posted in Cabal Online | 6 Comments »Once again another bot user ( |x|HeaveN|x|) has committed self-ownage at the Cabal online philippine forums. He made a tutorial on how to install the Shinobi skin. Instead of getting congratulatory pat on the back for the guide, he just outed himself as bot user. I wish more and more botters are like him, it makes bot reporters and GM’s job easier.
Congratulations dude, you’ve just earned yourself 2 months vacation from cabal online. Tsk, tsk I pity your Guild members though.
