Worlds.com filed a copyright infringement against NCSOFT for it’s virtual world and MMO patents. The two patents mentioned are Scaling virtual spaces and multiple player interaction in 3D environment. You can read more about the details here.

The first thing that went in my mind is that, “What the heck is Worlds.com?” Sure they did pioneer the MMO and got the patent approved but seriously they should go after the big fish like World of Warcraft. Sounds like a desperate attempt to get extra cash. They got the nerve to file it on Christmas Eve. If ever the Worlds.com succeeds in suing NCSOFT, I bet they’ll go after every foreign owned MMORPG companies. As much as I want to fling generous amount of expletives towards greedy bitches at Worlds.com, I rather not waste my energy to those morons.

A 15-year old swedish teen gathered with his friends to play the latest installment of World of Warcraft, “Wrath of the Lich King” on a Saturday night. 20 hours later, the teen suffered a convulsion at around 2 pm. He was rushed to a nearby hospital. The teen’s condition was stabilized and on the way to full recovery. The cause of his convulsion were sleep deprivation, lack of food and continuous playing.
The boy’s father mentioned that the teen spent most of his time playing the game and doesn’t eat much. The Wrath of Lich King isn’t over yet when the Game Over treatment center in Linkoping got flooded by calls of the parents due to the “Wrath of the Lich King” World of Warcraft installment.

The newest Streetfighter movie topbilled by Kristin Kreuk as Chun Li will hit the theatres on 2009. The story focuses on Chun Li’s life and the usual, “Revenge is the dish best served cold” plot.
While Kristin Kreuk’s a great looking actress but something’s a bit “off” when she slips on Chun li’s outfit. She looked more like a younger counterpart of Princess Leia. Noticeably absent from the movie are Ken and Ryu. The characters that will return to the movie are the following:
M Bison (Neal McDonough), Balrog (Michael Clarke Duncan), Charlie/Nash (Chris Klein) and Vega (Taboo of Black Eyed Peas).
We’ve all been through a lot of really disastrously evil movie adaptation of the arcade games we love such as Dead or Alive, Mortal Combat and many more. I’m positive that we will survive this unscathe. Let’s see how the new Streetfighter movie will fare at the Box Office.

The victim’s fingers were nearly severed and there’s a gash on his head. Apparently, the victim asked the perpetrator to turn down the volume of the computer many times. When Shen refused to budge (probably busy gold farming), the victim challenged him for a showdown. The bail offered by Chinese National was refused by Magistrate John Burns.
Seriously, is he really that broke that he can’t afford to buy an earphone? Next time instead of the Chinese government offering a bail, why don’t they equip all their Wow addicted exchange students with earphone to prevent future stabbing.

In a true Shakespearean tragedy, a jilted woman kills her husband for leaving her. The 43 year old japanese woman was jailed for illegally hacking the Maple Story online game account of her virtual ex-husband which happened to be a 33 year old office worker. If found guilty, she’ll get 5 years imprisonment or $5,000 fine.
“I was suddenly divorced, without a word of warning. That made me so angry,” the official quoted her as telling investigators and admitting the allegations.
Sheesh people, all that hoopla for a deleted account?! Unbelievable but
I really don’t know which is more tragic so you get choose;
1. Hacking and deleting the account of an ex
OR
2. 43 year old still playing Maple Story
