Dark Red’s Vampire Wars Leveling Guide
Yesterday I got the 25 levels in a day trophy. It’s actually not that difficult. Intense – yes, difficult – no. And since I’ve heard so much about it being the hardest trophy to get and impossible since the changing of the missions, I thought I’d share my experience and what I’ve learnt with you guys.
Note: This Guide was created by Dark Red of Zynga Forums.
I went from Level 182 to Level 207 in about 4.5 hours.
The Reallocation:
You do need to reallocate into energy. My stats were:
Attack: 1
Defense: 1
Health: 100
Rage: 15
Energy: Whatever’s left. ~1000+
The Setup:
It’s best to be prepared. But post 70 this isn’t too hard:
501 Clan
501 Cross Running Waters
501 Superior Impervious
501 Superior Horrific Transformations
Glyph of Wisdom – 50% or higher just started.
All 3 refills and maximum energy.
The Levels:
With this setup, if you can get 1 energy refill per level you can do this in 4.5 hours. No problem. I left my rage and health buffs there so that whatever came in was always energy. When you level:
- Go back into zombie mode by attacking between levels 70-150 with under 150 clan. I would find a nice juicy zombie and use them. That’s why I had good abilities, a full clan and 15 rage.
- Put your skill points into energy. Honestly you go so quickly I’d forget but get on it every couple of levels.
- Delete return votes and vote back for the others. It’s hard to keep up with this, but I do like to vote back and deleting the ones I’ve dealt with helps me keep track. The last five levels I stopped doing this as my magic was running out.
As soon as I got the Glyph of wisdom on 50% I just went for it. It’s best to have it running the whole time. This is key. If you don’t have it one energy buff will not be enough to get you the exp you need to level.
The Missions:
Do the best missions. Start with the stalker mission and then do the littler ones when you run out of energy for that one. It speeds things up.
The highest ratio you can get is 2 energy to 3 exp.
These can be found in the following missions:
None of these need a mission item to complete.
Fledgling: Fight a Sewer Wererat (2 energy : 3 exp)
Neophyte: Feed in Central Park (8 energy : 12 exp)
Adept: Save a Vampire from Hunters (10 energy : 15 exp)
Stalker: Demolish the Spider Caverns (46 energy : 69 exp)
The Refills:
So how on earth did I get 25 energy refills in 4.5 hours? This is the good bit. How can you get 100% votes back immediately when you need them?
Vote Surf! Vote for people who are online now and who are voting now. When you vote for someone, vote for the last person who voted for them. Then with that new person, vote for the last person who voted for them. And so on. It’s really quick.
Sometimes you start going round in circles cause people are voting back to each other, sometimes you end up following someone who is vote surfing also which is funny just vote for the person below them and keep following them, and sometimes you hit someone like me who deletes all comments and you crash onto the shore. But it’s fun and works really fast. You’ll be surprised.
Also let your clan know what you’re up to so they can vote for you and spin magic. It’s a good way to get support if you run into a tricky patch. Especially towards the end.
So there you go. 25 Levels really quickly. Awesome!
