Here’s a guide in clan management in facebook browser game Vampire Wars.
Note: This Guide was created by Mad Macs of Zynga Forums
Hey all, thought I’d share some thoughts on Clan Optimization with you.
Feel free to take it or leave it… but it seems to work pretty well for me.
Step 1, get to 501 clan.
Invite everyone you can to be your friend. Everyone you see on the Combat List. Everyone in your news feed. Pimp yourself out on your Clan Wall. Pimp yourself out on your Own Wall. Pimp yourself out on your Friends’ Walls…
Seriously, you need to get to 501 pronto. Until you get to 501, everyone in your clan is a valuable “body” for you, whether they are dead weight or not. If you don’t have 501 clan (500 friends plus you), you’re not at optimal attack strength.
Improving abilities and improving your attack stats isn’t nearly as valuable (or easy) as growing your clan.
Simple math:
* Clan Size = 1 (no friends), Max Attack = 100 (for example)
* Clan Size = 10 (9 friends), Max Attack = 1,000
* Clan Size = 100 (99 friends), Max Attack = 10,000
* Clan Size = 500 (499 friends), Max Attack = 50,000
So, you can see that by increasing your clan from 1 to 500, you increase your attack strength by a factor of 500 (assuming you have the abilities to outfit your entire clan).
Step 2, optimize your clan.
Once you hit 501, you can stop actively recruiting friends.
You still might want to invite people if you attack them and lose, or they attack you and win, or they put you on the HL and you’re trying to make peace.
Make sure to go through your Clan Invite page to invite all friends that aren’t currently in your clan.
Once you’re above 501, you now need to start thinking about what these “Clan” are to you… besides being a # to increase your attack strength, they also can vote for you (providing refill buffs), and they can spin the Mandy wheel (providing magic buffs). So, if you’ve got very active players that spin and vote daily, that’s good for you. If you’ve got dead weight (especially the bankrupt players) in your clan, they’re just pulling you down. They will benefit from your spins, without ever returning the favor.
So, I recommend that you go through your friends list from time to time, and check their profile pages. If there is nothing on their wall about VW, send them a message and ask them if they play VW regularly. If they don’t respond, or say that they don’t, remove them from your clan. It’ll save you from having them suck up your spins, when you could be helping your other active clan members.
