For everyone that has any questions about Skill Ranking in Vampire Wars, I thought I’d put together a little guide to answer them.
Note: This Guide is created by MadMacs of Zynga Forums.
First off, everyone starts level 1 with 1500 SR points.
From there, you can go UP, or you can go DOWN, or you can stay the same.
IF you attack a Zombie and you win, your SR stays the same, regardless of their SR.
IF you attack a Zombie and you lose, I do believe that your SR WILL go down, so be careful. I can’t confirm this, because I’ve never lost to a Zombie before.
IF you attack a non-Zombie and you win, your SR could stay the same if your SR is much higher than theirs (about 500-700 or more I think).
IF you attack a non-Zombie and you win, your SR could go up 1 point if their SR is about 400-500 below yours.
… non-Zombie win, SR 2 points if their SR is about 200-400 below yours
… nZ win, SR 3 points if SR 100-200 below yours
… nZ win, SR 4-6 points if SR between yours and 100 below yours
… nZ win, SR 6-14 points if SR above yours to 300 above yours
… nZ win, SR 15-18 points if SR 300-600 above yours
… nZ win, SR 19-20 points if SR > 600 above yours
I’m not 100% sure on the exact ranges, but that’s the general potential outcomes of non-Zombie victories. You can’t go up more than 20 SR in a single fight no matter how high your opponent’s SR is.
IF you attack a non-Zombie and you lose, your SR could stay the same if their SR is about 100+ above yours
… nZ lose, SR -1 points if they are 600-1000 above you
… nZ lose, SR -2 points if they are 300-600 above you
… nZ lose, SR -3 points if they are 100-300 above you
… nZ lose, SR -4 points if they are 0-100 above you
… nZ lose, SR -5 points if they are 0-100 below you
… nZ lose, SR -8 points if they are 100-200 below you
… nZ lose, SR -12 points if they are 200-300 below you
… nZ lose, SR -16 points if they are 300-400 below you
… nZ lose, SR -18 points if they are 400-600 below you
… nZ lose, SR -20 points if they are > 600 below you
Again, not 100% sure of the exact ranges, and I don’t know if the ranges are a percentage of your SR so that at higher SR, you have to go larger gaps from your SR to get the bigger swings…
But that’s the general deal… every combat, win or lose, can affect you from -20 to +20 SR points.
Hope this helps!
Also, side note…
Once you get to 2000 SR for Move Silently, there’s really no need to buff your SR up higher, because you’re just making yourself a target for the people that want their SR to be higher.
