Botting – Virus of the gaming world
I’m fuming with rage each time some players flaunts it at the forums at the supposed “benefits” of botting. It doesn’t help the game publishers and it deprives legitimate players from being able to connect the game. I used to play Silkroad online. It used to be a cool game, there’s a lot of interaction with the players. Until the bot program infested the game selling their gold shit and stuff. It was impossible to connect to the server. Eventually when legitimate players quit so has botting. It would take a bit of time before Silkroad online became playable. Adding more servers won’t solve anything and it’s a total waste of resources if it’s populated by botters. Why pay for premium items when there’s bot?
Cabal online, is slowly becoming botter’s paradise. One saturday night, we were having a hard time trying to connect to Cabal online at an internet cafe since the servers are always full. We usually play Cabal while waiting for the rest of our friends to join us in DOTA game. We noticed a vacant PC with cabal online still running with the character grinding away like there’s no tomorrow. Obviously, it’s a bot program. I got into arguments with friends, since I was tempted to take note the game character name and restart the pc with the bot program. Fortunately the PC restarted all by itself. That makes it one less bot for the day.
Botting is NOT legal. Why play the game at all if you don’t have time to play it or too lazy to press keyboards. Botting is like lazy gym rat who shoots up steroids to beef up his body.
