Blade Chronicle: Samurai Online

Japanese game publisher Games Arena collaborates withSpike and Dwango in creating a Bakumatsu era MMORPG the “Blade Chronicle: Samurai Online “. The game takes you back to the Bakumatsu time period where sword wielding samurais are free to roam. For now the game is currently on beta testing stage in Japan.

The main feature of the game is the Weapon Evolution system where the weapons evolves as the player levels up. Skills can also be customized to fit the player’s fighting style. I hope that an international version of the game will be released soon so we can check out the game.

While the game looks promising, it needs some wow factor to make it stand out from sea of Korean MMORPG. Let’s hope that the next version of the game would be much better and aesthetically pleasing. Visit the official site for the video preview of the game.
