While California mourns when Proposition 8 was passed. The good news is that in Dream of Mirror Online MMORPG game, proposition 8 is practically non-existent. Same gender couples can now enjoy the benefits of the virtual online marriage such as summon your sweetheart from anywhere in the map, heal skills and other perks that can’t be normally enjoyed in the real world. However that might get some parents frowning at the thought that their underaged children are tied to a virtual marriage of same gender. Oh the horror!
I find it ironic since a lot of the guy gamers especially in Asia loves to choose female characters as their alter ego. Some even dupes other fellow guy gamers into giving them rare items. Whether it’s heterosexual marriage or homosexual marriage, there’s not much difference at all.
