Right after the much critically despised Dragon Ball Evolution movie, here comes the King of Fighters movie. What were they thinking?
Kyo, Mai, Terry and some of the fighters are transported into another dimension in a fight to save the universe.
Wait, Mortal Kombat already did that, talk about unoriginality. To be honest, the film looks like a low budget p0rn movie without the f*cking. If it were, I would totally watch it. Seriously, it seems that nobody behind the movies have any idea about the King of Fighters mythos. It’s not just a video game, there’s myth and story behind the characters. At the end of the day, the producers would scratch their heads wondering why the movie flopped and how they are going to get back their lost investment.
Lets start off with the cast of characters. Obviously they don’t look anything like the characters they play. Plus, there’s no hotties so the movie is totally bound to FAIL.
Kyo Kusanagi
Since the producers obviously hates to gamble with an asian male lead so they had to pick an american actor Sean Faris instead. The poor guy looks very much displaced in streets of Hong kong. I wonder how will Kyo’s mom explain why Kyo turned out to be caucasian?
Iori Yagami
Well, they didn’t mess up on casting Kyo so it’s passable. However, before the actor could give his insights about the character he got excluded. I bet he was gonna say “What a piece of sh!t mov!e”.
Mai Shiranui
Maggie Q as Mai Shiranui? Sure she kicks ass and all but she hardly posses the youthful sass that Mai Shiranui has. She looks really, really worn out that her chest deflated.
Terry Bogard
To complement the aging Mai, they had to get an older actor otherwise they would look “off”. Mai and Terry’s tandem is appealing as a stale bread.
Mature and Vice
Since when did these two women wore loligoth costumes in the game? Seriously. Vice was supposed to have dark red hair. Another thing that bothers me is that vice looks like the infamous Annabel Chung (the girl who had the first world record G-ng Bang).

WTF?! i knew it was a b-rated movie but this is ridiculous! First, before there was Lara Croft or the beach babes of Dead or Alive, Mai was the first to done the crown of mistress of juggies in the videogame world. Second, Kyo’s supposed to be the heir of the ancient japanese warrior clan known as the “Kusanagi Clan”, they had to have a white dude to play him? “Rain” from “Ninja Assasin” would have been my pick even from the hair style alone. Lastly, Terry “the legendary wolf” has long blonde hair (even though cut drastically in Mark of the Wolves) and freaking awesome built. this guy looks like a fucking transient, to even link him to Mai? we all know that Mai’s Andy’s woman! fucking retards! what’s next, Aaron Carter to play Hoahmaru for “Samurai Showdown”!

I’m a huge fan of King of Fighters and although part of me looks forward to seeing this movie =/ the way they made the cast of characters is retarded. Terry like mentioned above has long blonde hair is muscular and has a cool character and at times a freeloader and in this movie he is a CIA agent -_- has short hair, has the wrong clothing and is not all that muscular. Like mentioned above is FKIN COMMON KNOWLEDGE that Mai is Andy’s wife WHO Is TERRY’s Brother i say WTF.
as far as casting of the characters go =/ nothing has been done right -_-
