Guildwars 2 Sneak Preview

After more than 4 years since the first Guild Wars installment, NCSoft presents Guildwars 2. The game company never fails to wow us with their meticulously made game. Check out the lush backgrounds and dazzling character designs. It’s great to hear that the game remains free to play. You’ll just need to buy the game installer and you’re all set to play.

If you have an existing Guild Wars account, you can still reserve your character name. Unfortunately the existing character is not transferrable. You’ll just have to start the game from scratch. After all it’s a completely new game with different world, items ,race, skills and etc.

Sidekick System – Your high level characters can transfer some skills and item to the newly created low leve character.

Guild Wars 2 Races

Humans - Humans have been on the Tyrian continent since 205 BE / 305 CC / -5 DR. In Tyria, the four most prominent human organizations are the nation of Ascalon, the White Mantle, the Shining Blade and the Lionguard.
Charr -The land north of Ascalon’s protective Great Northern Wall is occupied by a savage race of beasts known as the Charr.To the Charr, flame is the physical representation of their gods. In order to keep the gods happy, they must first fulfill their obligation to the flame. Between these pillars, in the very center of each of these temples, are the ever-burning Sacred Flames. The Charr believe that as long as the flames are burning, the gods are pleased. If the flames go out, then the Charr have failed in their duties and will be punished by the gods.
Norn - The Norn are a race of nine-foot-tall warriors who live in the northernmost Shiverpeaks. They revel in the harsh climes, leading dangerous lives among savage beasts. These mighty hunters are not organized into a single nation. Instead, those who display exceptional strength and prowess in battle establish homesteads, though they are certainly not considered “rulers”.
Asura - The Asura are a race of diminutive but incredibly intelligent humanoids who live beneath the surface of Tyria. They see the world as a complex magical machine, and their philosophy of “Eternal Alchemy” touches everything they do. Inventors, scientists, and spellcasters of every stripe, the Asura consider many other races beneath them—and are not afraid to tell them so at every opportunity.
Sylvari - The Sylvari are a young, inquisitive race of creatures spawned from the Pale Tree in Arbor Bay. They are beings of light, as they have yet to be corrupted by the knowledge of sorrow, suspicion, or hatred. The Sylvari are a response to the threat of the dragons, and as such, they believe it is their destiny to hunt the dragons. They have an innate bond with plants, and each other, which they call the Dream of Dreams.
